both the reasons are wrong. A few reasons could be:
- Its just that people who have net access in their offices/campuses have gone on Diwali holidays.

BTW Happy Diwali. And I dont know the ans to ur question. Also, Yayati used to rule from a city located in the current hariyana. The kuru-vanshis later shifted the capital to Hastinapur. But this was not enough to remind me of any serial. SO kindly give the answer.

Its a serial based on "Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyas" some bengali novel. And revolvs around some bengali families living in Agra. (Its not charitraheen)
Another one.... a Bengali background story again with Rupa Ganguli in lead... this is easy I guess (used to be there on Sunday afternoons)...

Its "Nupur".
In the serial, Hema malini is a bharatanatyam dancer. And Mohan Agashe is the manager of her dance troop. The serial starts in UK, where Hema has gone for a show. And Mohan Agashe tries to sexually exploit her or something like that. So she returns to India in middle of the tour and loses all her contracts because of this. While left with no work, she decides to travel, during which she finds a guru in a small temple in Tamil Nadu. The guru makes her realize that, Bharatnatyam is not just a dance but a language. In the end she emerges as one of the greatest in the business.
